HalfNoise (feat Zac Farro ex-Paramore) release self-titled debut EP through Xtra Mile Recordings in UK & Europe

By on September 25, 2012

HALFNOISE are set to release their self-titled debut EP thought Xtra Mile Recordings (Frank Turner, Against Me!, Future of the Left…) on 1st October 2012. HalfNoise features multi-instrumentalist and musician Zac Farro (formerly of Paramore) as the sole permanent member, allowing Zac to collaborate with revolving door of musicians as and when he chooses, providing an impressive creative outlet.
Zac started writing a lot of the songs featured on the ‘HalfNoise’ EP while he was still in Paramore to express a certain creative side of him that he didn’t feel capable of doing by only playing drums. HalfNoise released their first music (a music video for the track titled ‘Free The House’) via a low key Twitter post earlier this year, with this EP being the first official release since his departure of the multi-platinum selling band.
Daniel James and Jason Clark worked with Zac on HalfNoise’s debut release with James acting as producer for the EP alongside Zac. Speaking of the recordings process Zac has said, “This was an incredible experience for me, to not only record songs I’d been writing for years now, but to also work so closely with friends and musicians I respect and look up to.”
‘HalfNoise’ is released though the band’s own label in the US and via Xtra Mile Recordings in the UK. The EP will be available in all good record stores but you can also pre-order the following exclusive bundles at www.xtramilerecordings.com:
