In 2012, the band played in front of 5-8,000 rabid fans. The band now prepares to rock thousands more!

HeadCrusher comments on this monumental event:

Coming back to Rock al Parque in Colombia is huge for us. This is the biggest festival in the country and possibly the second biggest in South America after Rock in Rio. It is a free festival and it gives the audience an opportunity to see international and national acts at the best technical conditions, and to local bands to perform in front of a huge audience. So, it is always great to come back and have such a great opportunity.  It is also a weekend where you see old friends and bands we used to play with back home. It is a great feeling…the festival really treats every band, from the smallest local band in the fest to the international headliners, as rock stars. It is a pretty awesome weekend. It really takes over the whole city.

HeadCrusher was “born in Colombia and made in Texas.”  The band has taken large strides since moving to Austin via Colombia in 2008, releasing two critically acclaimed full-length and EP recordings that bridge the gap between Sweden and South America, old school thrash and modern metal movements. The band has become a fixture in the local Austin metal scene playing festivals such as SXSW and Texas Independence Fest.  They played the first extreme metal cruise, Barge To Hell and  have shared the stage with such vaunted acts as Suicidal Tendencies, Dillinger Escape Plan, Shadows Fall, Mushroom Head, Lazarus A.D, Allegaeon, Motograter.  Having worked with the likes of Tue Madsen (The Haunted, Behemoth, Dark Tranquility) and Juan Urteaga (Exodus, Testament, Machine Head), every release yields top-notch audio.

Spora Recordz recently issued the first physical release of HeadCrusher’s

Let The Blood Run and Black Burning Skies albums on 12,” 150 gram double vinyl. Art work created by Jon Zig.  Respond to this email to receive these promotional materials for review or to set up an interview with the band.
