Heartist announces US headline tour with Sycamour and Brightwell

By on November 13, 2014

Roadrunner recording group Heartist has announced details of their first U.S. headline tour of 2015.  The eagerly awaited tour dates will see Heartist traversing the country this winter with support from SycAmour and Brightwell.  The tour kicks off January 10th at Eagle Aerie Hall in Henderson, NV and then continues through early February with more dates to be announced in the coming weeks.  For tickets and more info please visit www.heartistband.com/tour.

This past summer Heartist released their acclaimed debut LP, FEEDING FICTION.  Produced by David Bendeth (Paramore, Of Mice & Men, Bring Me The Horizon), FEEDING FICTION was praised by REVOLVER for its “Rousing, chorus-filled anthems …” while LOUDWIRE named Heartist “…a 2014 Breakout…” adding, “The five piece of Beckley, Marquez, Koch, DeVito and bassist Evan Ranallo succeed in delivering a solid blend of anthems, heavy rockers and melodic rock-radio fare on Feeding Fiction.”  More recently, the band released a new music video for their latest single “Skeletons,” which is currently available for streaming on Heartist’s official YouTube channel.

Equal parts anthemic grandeur, brawny metalcore-infused heaviness, and chorus-driven radio rock nirvana, FEEDING FICTION is Heartist at their absolute best. With each song boasting a towering chorus that demands to be unleashed in arenas and stadiums, it is rich with hooks and chunky riffs, and vocalist Bryce Beckley’s candid lyrics and soaring vocals aim to bring real, honest emotion back into heavy music.

“We started this band because we looked around and everything seemed stagnant, everyone just seemed to be doing the same thing, and I haven’t heard a song on the radio that’s really touched my soul in what seems like forever,” states Beckley. “We want people to hear us and go wow, holy shit, that’s what’s been missing.”

Formed in 2011, the members of Heartist walked away from college educations and secure employment to focus one hundred percent on music. They subsequently spent several months honing their sound, determined to create something that stood out on its own merits. In 2012 the band dropped their “Nothing You Didn’t Deserve” EP via Roadrunner Records and subsequently toured with the likes of Architects UK and Enter Shikari including a European run supporting label mates Killswitch Engage. Heartist has also shared stages across the US with Blessthefall, Silverstein, Secrets and label mates The Amity Affliction.

Heartist is: Bryce Beckley – Vocals * Evan Ranallo – Bass * Tim Koch – Guitar * Matt Marquez – Drums * Robby Devito – Guitar.
