Indie Pop Trio DONORA debut on CMJ Top 200 with “Play Nice,” On Tour Now

Indie pop trio Donora released Play Nice, a “sticky sweet” (-Madison Isthmus) five song EP of “irresistible dance-pop” – (Daily Candy Chicago), on January 29th via Rostrum Records with a private performance at Club Café in their native Pittsburgh.
This week the album debuted on the CMJ Top 200 at #64 and the title track was the featured MP3 of the Day on (February 7th).
Play Nice follows 2011s critically acclaimed Boyfriends, Girlfriends. With its “cheer-infused ‘50s girl-group vibe and sunny lyrics,” Nylon Magazine predicts “they won’t be a Pittsburgh secret for long.”
The album yielded three singles on FMQB Top 25 including airplay on stations such as KROQ and WXRT, national commercial placements for Chase Bank and McDonald’s and TV show placements on Fox’s Glee, ABC’s Switched At Birth, and MTV’s Cribs, Underaged and Engaged, and True Life amongst others.  MTV’s Buzzworthy also premiered their video for And Then The Girls. Currently, their hit “I Think I Like You” appears in a Nationwide Insurance campaign and was previously featured for DKNY.
