Into It. Over It. have released the music video for “No Amount of Sound” from the new album Intersections, released last week on Triple Crown Records. The work of prolific Chicago based songwriter Evan Weiss, Into It. Over It. has been praised for its “verbose” lyricism, and “melodically winding acoustic guitars” by Pitchfork, garnered a 4 of 5 star review from Alternative Press, and The Onion A/V Club writes that Weiss has “never seemed this self-assured.”

The Max Moore Films directed video for “No Amount of Sound” captures the poignant nature of the song as a young man re-creates and confronts past memories as he drowns under their weight.

The culmination of the long trail of LPs, EPs, cassettes and splits with acclaimed artists like Daniel Johnston, Bob Nanna of Braid, and Koji, Intersections was recorded at the legendary Soma Electronic Music Studios by producer Brian Deck (Modest Mouse, Iron & Wine). Into It. Over It. “honors the tradition of Midwestern indie rock oversharers,” writes SPIN, “by wrapping cutting lyrics in languid guitar lines and bruised yelps.“While the concept of the album started out centering around different intersections in Chicago, as the writing progressed it shifted toward intersections in Weiss’ life, making each song a glimpse into where things were in the past and how that impacts today.
