IRATION has just announced their “Tales from the Sea” tour with new headlining dates for 2015. The reggae-influenced alternative rockers will bring Stick Figure and Hours Eastly along for the ride, kicking off Friday, February 13, 2015 in Reno, NV. The coast-to-coast run will also include a stop at New York’s Irving Plaza on April 24. Confirmed dates are listed below (more to be added) and info for ticketson sale this Friday, November 21–can be found at http://irationmusic.com/tour.

“The ocean is and always will be a source of inspiration and life for us,” the band explains of the tour’s name. “Each song is a different tale to tell and we can’t wait to share them. The set list will consist of new songs, older songs, and songs we haven’t played live before. Along with Stick Figure and Hours Eastly, we can’t wait to come to your town.”

IRATION is touring behind their third full-length album AUTOMATIC, which debuted at #1 on both the Billboard and iTunes Reggae Albums charts, as well as #7 on the iTunes Overall Albums chart, #75 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart and #17 on the Billboard Independent Albums chart upon its release summer 2013. AUTOMATIC has helped propel IRATION’s career to a new level, and the response from fans, critics and industry has been overwhelmingly positive. Check out the radio single and title track “Automatic” via a lyric video featuring live footage here: http://youtu.be/C_apajYOVzA. The song “Automatic” is especially important to the band as it’s an ode to their fans, a heartfelt thank you for the unwavering support they’ve felt throughout their career.

The Hawaiian-bred, Santa Barbara, CA-based groupMicah Pueschel (vocals/guitar), Adam Taylor (bass), Joseph Dickens (drums), Cayson Peterson (keyboard/synth) and Joseph King (engineer)–has been touring nationally since 2008. Their extensive touring schedule has included several festival performances including Lollapalooza, Wakarusa, SXSW, California Roots Music & Arts Festival, McDowell Mountain Music Festival, Sierra Nevada World Music Festival, Sunset Strip Music Festival and more.
