Enter your songs now in the 2012 International Songwriting Competition (ISC) and be eligible to share in over $150,000 in cash and prizes. Win acknowledgement for your songwriting and become part of an elite group of winners who have included Gotye, Kimbra, Omar Sosa, Kasey Chambers, The Band Perry, Gin Wigmore, Andrew Bird, Amanda Palmer, and many more.

Now in its eleventh year, ISC is known for its great prizes and high-profile judges. Ask any music industry executive or songwriter which competitions rank as the most influential, and they will place ISC at the top of the list. ISC is an unique opportunity for songwriters to gain international recognition and have the opportunity for their music to be heard by the most respected and influential recording artists and music industry executives in the world.

ISC is open to amateur and professional songwriters from all over the world – including bands and solo performers. Sixty-eight winners will be selected, including a Grand Prize winner who will be awarded $25,000 in cash (US) and more than $40,000 in prizes (including a custom Lowden guitar valued at over $11,000).

How can you enter? It’s very easy to submit your songs. You can enter online with an mp3 through ISC, Sonicbids, ReverbNation, or Broadjam. Also, you can mail your songs; ISC accepts CDs, tapes, or DVDs (for music video entries).

Entrants may submit as many songs as they wish – different songs in the same category or the same song in multiple categories. Are you a songwriter who is 18 yrs. old or younger?

If so, you should enter the ISC Teen category.

In addition to all the regular prizes, ISC awards the First Place winner of the Teen category a full scholarship to Berklee College of Music’s 5-week Summer Performance Program – tuition, room, and board included! This is a great opportunity to attend one of the top music schools in the world. Eleigibility requirements are that each songwriter is 18 or younger on or before December 31, 2012.
