After a face melting performance at Austin City Limits with The Black Keys last month, J. Roddy Walston & The Business continue to keep rocking out with the release of their latest lyric video the thunderously tribal track “Sweat Shock”, which premiered HERE on ESPN.com. They also spoke to drummer Steve Colmus about the band’s love of their hometown teams – especially the Baltimore Orioles.

Because of the song’s successful run in a Coors Light ad (watch it HERE) during the 2014 football season, sports fans were left wanting more music from the band behind it. “Sweat Shock” is from the 2013 album Essential Tremors, which borrows its name from a nervous-system disorder that’s long plagued the band’s front man.

“It’s this condition where my hands shake – sometimes not at all, but sometimes pretty bad,” says singer/pianist/guitarist Walston. “I’ve referenced it throughout all our records in some way, but it made sense to be more open about it on this album, which is partly about owning and embracing your weirdness instead of letting it hold you captive because you don’t even want to talk about it.”

But whether it’s raw and riotous or a tender serenade, where J. Roddy Walston & The Business really shines is live on-stage. Head below to check out their upcoming tour dates, including a slot supporting The Replacements in Philadelphia at Festival Pier and stops at summer music festivals Governor’s Ball and Hangout Festival.
