By on October 10, 2013

Next month, JULY will be embarking on a Canadian tour with VEARA on “The Eh Team Tour.” It will hit several different provinces including Ontario, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Quebec. In addition, July has launched a weekly cover series.

July will be releasing their debut LP, What We Signed Up For, on Nov. 12th via TDR Records. The album saw an exclusive Japanese release earlier this year on Kick Rock Invasion. The band was part of the Japanese label’s annual “Beyond The Blue Tour” featuring Hit The Lights, We Are The In Crowd, Divided By Friday, and Set It Off. July has also done two US tours this year, with Broadside and Giants At Large respectively, and numerous Canadian festival appearances including Warped Tour, Koi Fest, Sounds Of Burlington, Koi Con, and supported Sydney at their sold out reunion show.

Also, July has launched its weekly cover series. Every Tuesday, the band will release a new cover and make it available for free download. The first cover is Drake’s “Hold On, We’re Going Home” and can be viewed at www.wearejuly.com.

Augusta, Georgia’s own Peach State pop-punkers Veara celebrated the release of their new album Growing Up Is Killing Me last month. Growing Up Is Killing Me is a huge sonic step forward for this powerful band. Beneath the ear-candy layered power chords, the band have an urgent message about life, friendship, and betrayal and they are expressing the only way they know how: Through their music. The band hopes that when fans listen to the album, they know that they are not alone in the process of growing up.
