LA-based indie quintet Fire In The Hamptons has released a new remix for their latest single “Chosen Ones.” The remix was done by the band under their FITH moniker and takes Fire’s distinct combination of dance-centric 80’s beats, gritty synthesizers and intricate vocal melodies to a new level. You can listen to the remix on the band’s official Soundcloud.

“Chosen Ones” comes off the band’s EP, Chosen Ones. Released in September, the five-track EP was produced by Carlos De La Garza (Young The Giant, Neon Trees, Tegan & Sara). “I wanted to go for a bigger sound on the production of Chosen Ones,” says lead singer and songwriter Zack Arnett. The song, Zack said, is “an anthem to a feeling, a call to attention that we’re all bigger than what we most often perceive ourselves to be.”

Fire In The Hamptons will be playing at The Bootleg on February 17 with Hobart W Fink and The Draw. Tickets for the show are available here: http://foldsilverlake.com/event.cfm?id=191280.
