Leona X releases 3 song EP ‘Ready For This’

Leona X, the rock/hard rock band from Seattle Washington has released her three song EP “Ready For This” digitally on Nov 1st, 2013. The extended play recorded at Seattle’s infamous London Bridge Studios in the late summer of 2013, is wild and full of ripping guitar solos. The updated sound combined with Leona’s sultry, sexy vocals makes for a solid release and a successful EP.

The Leona X band is comprised of some of Seattle’s most respected and talented musicians. Formed in June of 2013, their high level of skill, adrenaline, and dynamic stage presence are key elements to the bands hard rocking sound. Leona X members include: Simona Bressi on drums, Henry Cheng on rhythm guitar, Chris Ewers on bass and Leona Marie formerly of Jaggedy Ann on lead guitar and vocals. Leona Marie lead singer of Leona X has a vibrant history which includes 22 years in the business and founding member of Jaggedy Ann the All-Girl Band from Las Vegas. Jaggedy Ann began the climb up the charts after releasing the album “Boiling Point” in 2006 which was recorded in New Zealand and produced by Phil Rudd of the legendary AC/DC. Jaggedy Ann accolades include two world tours, radio and magazine press and endorsing companies. Days after her EP Release this November, Leona X traveled to The SEMA Show in Las Vegas to perform a cover for Kia. The results of the trade show performance has been phenomenal, with press in Motor Trend, USA Today, NBC News Business and other sites. The future for Leona X is bright. Besides writing additional songs and developing on a “Ready for This” video, band is currently working with Pyrodynamic Media Productions, LLC of Seattle to produce a Jaggedy Ann-Leona Marie documentary. Spring 2014 will put the band back on the road to reconnect with Leona’s Jaggedy Ann fans in Las Vegas and LA.
