LA-based group Letting Up Despite Great Faults have released a brand new video for the single “Teenage Tide” off their recently released EP, Paper Crush, available now on Old Flame Records. The video is a wistful glance back at adolescence as frontman Mike Lee explains, “the song is ultimately a battle with a younger you, but your side is clouded with nostalgia and forgetting how to remember who you wanted to be.” Lose yourself in some of the fondest memories of your past and watch the video via the RollingStone.com premiere or YouTube.
Letting Up Despite Great Faults is the electro-based sonic diary of founding member, Mike Lee. The band’s first release was the Movement EP, which included songs that were featured on NPR and the television drama, One Tree Hill. In 2009, they released their self-titled full length, which met with unanimous critical acclaim, including rave reviews from Pitchfork, Rolling Stone, Exclaim! and countless indie music blogs. Consisting of Kent Zambrana, Chris Gregory, Matt Salas, Caitlin Dwyer, and Lee himself, the live band seamlessly integrates electronic and acoustic drums on stage. More details on a national tour to follow shortly.
