Hot on the heels of his critically acclaimed Into The Wild EP and hitting the iTunes Top 10 with all four of his EPs, London-based Lewis Watson has announced a new release, this time joined by friends. Produced by Mike Crossey (The 1975, Arctic Monkeys, Foals, Jake Bugg) and Richard Wilkinson (Lianne La Havas, Adele), the new EP is titled Some Songs With Some Friends and will be released November 26 via Warner Bros. Records.

Some Songs With Some Friends features a re-recorded, re-mastered version of single “Even If”. The rest of the EP sees Lewis interpreting some of his favorite songs with the help of some like-minded friends: Gabrielle Aplin joins him for their own take on the Colbie Caillat and Jason Reeves duet “Droplets”; recent touring partner Kimberly Anne contributes to a fresh version of Everything Everything’sThe Peaks”; and Irish duo Hudson Taylor join Lewis on ‘Colorblind’, originally by Counting Crows.

Lewis Watson has developed a thriving fan base in his young career, already hailed by BBC Radio 1 and The Independent. He grew his fanbase organically through sharing his original songs and heartfelt covers of Bombay Bicycle Club, Bon Iver, etc., and is taking his charmingly sincere live show back to the states performing select shows in NYC and LA. Be sure to catch him live!

” …a glimmery folk track that brings to mind the Avett Brothers, Fleet Foxes or his fellow Brits, Mumford & Sons.PAPER

“Anthemic, starry-eyed, arms-round-your-mates choruses… there’s a husky maturity in his voice.” – The Telegraph
