LA based indie-rock band Lieutenant has announced its first U.S. tour dates in support of the upcoming record, If I Kill This Thing We’re All Going To Eat For A Week, which is due out on March 10th via Dine Alone Records. The newly announced solo project from Nate Mendel (Foo Fighters, Sunny Day Real Estate) will kick off the tour at Dine Alone’s SXSW Showcase in Austin, TX on March and will end the run with a hometown show in Los Angeles at the Troubadour on April 8th. Tickets are on sale now.

Lieutenant made its live debut to a warm response from fans and critics in January with a handful of Southern California warm up shows that featured Mendel on guitar/vocals and guest musicians, Toshi Kasai on keyboards, Christian Wargo (Fleet Foxes) on bass, Paul “Pablo” Wilson (Snow Patrol) on guitar and Jorma Vik (The Bronx, Mariachi El Bronx) on drums. Now, Mendel will share his music in an intimate setting for fans across the country for the first time on a thirteen-date tour of the U.S.

Fans can also stream three new songs, “Rattled,” “Belle Epoque,” and “Believe The Squalor,” from If I Kill This Thing We’re All Going To Eat For A Week and pre-order the record now at
