Major Leagues release hazy video clip for ‘Endless Drain’ [Brisbane, Australia – Garage-Pop]

By on August 8, 2013

With their latest single ‘Endless Drain’ receiving praise from all corners of the globe (particularly where it’s still Summer), garage-pop four-piece Major Leagues from Brisbane, Australia have released a new video clip for the tune which mirrors its haziness – portraying the band amongst bright lights, beaches and arcade games.

‘Endless Drain’ has already infiltrated blogs around the globe in Canada, UK, South America, USA, Asia and Europe. Australian community radio stations FBi, Radio Adelaide, 4ZZZ and Joy FM have followed suit, with national broadcaster, triple j, providing full rotation for the fuzz-laden pop track.

After significant airplay, programming support, and a feature artist spot for Major Leagues, triple j Unearthed have recently confirmed the band as one of Australia’s most exciting young acts by awarding them a coveted showcase position at this year’s BIGSOUND Music Conference. The band will be joining the likes of Xavier Rudd, Clubfeet, MT Warning, Dune Rats and Stonefield at Australia’s premiere music industry conference in September.

Off the back of recent shows alongside Ball Park Music, Wild Nothing, Violent Soho, Velociraptor, Cub Scouts and Loon Lake, Major Leagues are set to continue their surge of momentum throughout the remainder of the year with a string of Australian headline dates to celebrate the release of ‘Endless Drain’, and further national touring alongside The Preatures (Best New Track on Pitchfork) and The Holidays in September and October.

‘Endless Drain’ is currently available worldwide via iTunes.
