After technical difficulties outside of Manifest Records’ control delayed the new releases from If I Were You and Diamonds To Dust, both releases are now out on iTunes and the rest of the digital stores. Poughkeepsie’s If I Were You released their highly anticipated full length The Sleepless. Randy Pasquarella had this to say on the release, “The whole writing process was tough at first. We really liked the sound we had created on End Of An Era and wanted to mature that very sound. So we were sitting in the studio and just started making up this riff, which would eventually become the first single. Once we heard the finished product we knew from there we were onto something, and before we knew it we were banging out songs every other week and it was great. In our eyes we created the perfect album. Each song has a different meaning. We really tried to push ourselves with each song and we love how it came out.”

East Fishkill’s Diamonds To Dust sees their debut full length, entitled Faith Through Trials, released to the awaiting public. The release features guest vocals from Randy Pasquarella of If I Were You. Screamer Barry Elliott had this to say on the release, “When we wrote this album, we went in not knowing how it would turn out. We had a basic idea of what we wanted to do instrumentally, but we didn’t know what we were going to do vocally. Initially we had Randy Pasquarella the vocalist of If I Were You and Angelica Hogue the vocalist of What’s Left of Nowhere fill in. But once we were signed to Manifest Records, we had to find two permanent vocalists. With the addition of Joe Ayala and Brianna Nicole Heidstra we were able to complete the album, which tells a story about having faith in God, heartache, following your dreams, and getting through all kinds of trouble that maybe going on in a person’s life.”

About If I Were You:

If I Were You is a metalcore band based out of Hopewell Junction New York. Originally Named Naenia they have been around for many years, conquering the local scene. They have won competitions such as The Break Contest and have played huge festivals such as Bamboozle. When the screaming vocalist left they decided to change their name from Naenia to If I Were You and mature the sound that not only they, but their fans loved so much. If I Were You consist of Kyle Strang, Dan Conklin, Randy Pasquarella, and Jimmy Russell. While taking influences from bands such as Attack Attack, Asking Alexandria, I See Stars, The Amity Affliction, We Came as Romans, and Eskimo Call Boy they still manage to stand out and bring something new to the metalcore genre. In April of 2014, If I Were You became the first artist signed to Manifest Records. With one album already under their belt, they plan on taking the world by storm with their second album The Sleepless.

About Diamonds To Dust:

Diamonds to Dust was formed in Poughkeepsie New York in 2012. They came together with the idea that people with different experiences and stories could come together to make music. The original lineup consisted of Jenna Sedlak (Vocals), Matt Colgan (drums), Ryan Cuifo (Bass), Vincent Drummond (Guitar), Barry Elliott (Guitar, Backup Vocals). Together they wrote their first single Ashes to Ashes, but broke up shortly after because the musical influences were too different and the members could not agree on a direction. In December of 2013. Barry Elliott decided to try Diamonds to Dust once again. This time he would use influences from metal, hard rock, and pop punk to create a solid direction as in where to take the band. Taking sounds from bands such as A Day to Remember, Paramore, Breaking Benjamin, Four Years Strong, Skillet, And Chunk No Captain Chunk he began hitting the studio to record Diamonds to Dust album.
