In the midst of taking their action-packed live show to a ton of summer festivals, Matt and Kim announce the fall release of a new full length entitled Lightning Remixes on FADER Label.  Eleven remixers put their spin on tracks from the band’s fourth and latest full-length release, Lightning. Full details to be announced soon.

In the meantime, to celebrate the announcement of the new album, Matt and Kim are also launching a remix contest for anyone and everyone to put their creative touch to Lightning track “Tonight.” Starting today, Indaba Music will host that first-ever Matt and Kim remix competition.  Submissions will be accepted August 5 – September 2.  Song stems and all entry details for submission can be found at:

From September 3 to September 17, the public can vote for their favorite “Tonight” remix via the Indaba Music contest page. The top three Popular Vote winners will get 1-Year Indaba Pro Memberships.

Matt and Kim will choose the Grand Prize winner and three Runners-Up. The winning remixer will have his or her remix released exclusively on Spotify and will be awarded some awesome prizes, including Shure SRH750DJ Headphones, a Shure WHLB WhiteLabel Needle Cartridge, a Shure Record bag, a turntable, and a signed Matt and Kim Lightning Remixes vinyl album.
