Matt and Kim ‘Lightning Remixes’ out now on Fader

Matt and Kim’s new Lightning Remixes LP is out today on FADER Label. The release features eleven remixes of tracks from the band’s fourth full length, Lightning, remixed by artists like Anamanaguchi, Bonde Do Role, Yung Skeeter, Salva and more. raves Lightning Remixes is “a must own for any fan of electronic and indie music,” and AllMusic says, “it’s a fun new way to hear Matt and Kim’s music, and a welcome companion to hold fans over until the next proper album.”

The album is available digitally and on limited-edition vinyl, the latter of which comes with a die-cut “Matt and Kim” reusable sticker that, once removed, reveals a topless Kim. The album comes almost one year to the date of Lightning‘s release, which saw Matt and Kim tour the world while their videos for “It’s Alright” and “Let’s Go” went viral.

Matt and Kim have also announced the winner of their “Tonight” remix via Indaba Music. Remixer EEK!, whose remix can be heard at, takes the title of Grand Prize winner, along with prizes of Shure headphones, a turntable, signed Lightning Remixes vinyl, and an exclusive release of the remix on Spotify.
