Matt and Kim reveal album art for Lightning Remixes

After announcing the fall release of a hot new full-length album called LIGHTNING REMIXES (FADER Label), MATT AND KIM unveil the revealing artwork and announce an October 1 street date. The remix album will be released almost one year to the date after the Brooklyn duo unleashed their awesome fourth full-length album LIGHTNING. Some of the eleven remixers who put their spin on Lightning’s ten original tracks include Salva, Bonde Do Role, Yung Skeeter, and Anamanaguchi. Full track listing is below.


Lightning Remixes is available digitally and on limited-edition vinyl. The vinyl packaging comes with a die-cut “Matt and Kim” reusable sticker that, once removed, reveals a topless Kim! Pre-orders begin today on iTunes,, and  


Matt and Kim’s “Tonight” remix contest continues via Indaba Music. Submissions will be accepted through September 2 and anyone can enter their remix to win some great prizes, including the grand prize of an exclusive release on Spotify, as well as Shure headphones, a turntable, Indaba Pro Memberships, signed Lightning Remixes vinyl, and more. From September 3 to September 17, the public can vote for their favorite “Tonight” remix via the Indaba Music contest page. Song stems, submission details, and voting info can all be found at
