Sevag, has recently dropped his new remix to Miley Cyrus’s controversial hit ‘Wrecking Ball’. In his latest production, Sevag transforms the heartfelt ballad into a high energy dance hit that his fans and peers will enjoy.
With a resume that includes performances alongside top notch DJs such as Avicii, Thomas Gold, and Roger Sanchez, Sevag has developed a depth of unique talent and creativity. This rising star has unfolded into the EDM scene producing underground sounds, both versatile and progressive. This time, It’s Miley versus Sevag in a classic combination of catchy vocals and a dance-frenzy beat.
He begins with a build of punching bass that drops off as he lets Miley’s voice take over. As the chorus continues, adrenaline pumping synths are infused into the track and the drop proceeds to drop…..and drop hard. He uses the lyrics as a segway for beautifully molding a melody and drop that melt perfectly with the compelling tune. Sevag has proved that he is just the type of versatile producer that can so masterfully remix a top 40 vocal into a unique song with plenty of kick.
Determination, musicality, and passion are a few of the necessary qualities to become a successful musician. When referring to the young Armenian DJ/producer Sevag, these three words have been used to describe him long before he entered the DJ booth. From learning the piano at the age of 5 to listening to his first Jonathan Peters mix CD as an 11 year old, Sevag has been destined to show the world his musical talents well before he even knew it. Influenced by dance legends such as Peter Rauhofer, Junior Vasquez, Jonathan Peters, Erick Morillo and Roger Sanchez, this young Jersey product started his journey to DJ glory at the ripe age of 20. After buying his first pair of CDJs, it only took one year of relentless dedication before this up and comer went from playing frat parties to prime NYC hot spots.
Now, several years later, Sevag has graced most major DJ booths within the tri-state while also playing alongside a number of EDM’s top talent. Recently the young DJ/producer has played with A-Lister DJs such as; Avicii, Markus Schulz, Roger Sanchez, Chuckie, Nervo, Thomas Gold, Max Vangeli, Cedric Gervais, Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano, Deniz Koyu, Gregori Klosman, Mikael Weermets, Fehrplay, Chus & Ceballos, The Martinez Brothers and dBerrie to name a few.
