Currently, the pre-order includes a handful of tracks as downloads with purchase including “Hurricane,” “Our Own House,” “Reflections,” “Vagabond,” “Coffins,” and “Imagination Infatuation.” Pre-order here.

As they gear up for the record’s arrival, MisterWives had this to say about “Not Your Way,” “The song is an homage to every lady and gent who is fed up with society’s unrealistic standards of socially constructed gender roles. Shedding light in a fun and upbeat way, we hope the message of ‘Not Your Way’ impacts individuals of all ages and helps make a difference.”
Next week, the New York outfit will celebrate the release of Our Own House with a string of television performances. On Monday February 23, they take the stage at Late Night With Seth Meyers. They’ll go on to perform at Good Morning America February 25 and Live with Kelly and Michael on February 26.

Recently, MisterWives delivered an electrifying performance at the MTV “Artist to Watch” Concert during the Pre-Grammy ceremony in Los Angeles. Now, they’ll launch the “Our Own House Tour” on February 25 at Union Transfer in Philadelphia, PA. Support comes from BØRNS and label mate Handsome Ghost.

MisterWives generated immense buzz last year with the Reflections EP. The title track went on to exceed a staggering 20 million streams online, sell nearly 200,000 downloads and clinch the #1 spot on Billboard’s Emerging Artist chart. They made their television debut on Jimmy Kimmel LIVE! and hit the road on a whirlwind of packed shows, recently touring with twenty | one | pilots and Bleachers.

MisterWives – MisterWives are: Mandy Lee (Vocals), Etienne Bowler (Drums), Will Hehir (Bass), Marc Campbell (Guitar) and Jesse Blum (Keys/Trumpet/Accordion). The band began making music together in late 2012. Lee, the powerhouse vocalist, was born and raised in Queens and acts as the band’s principal songwriter. She studied songwriting and opera at NYC’s only specialized public high school for music and performing arts, laying a foundation for her incredible range and giving her the ability to explore a wide variety of vocal styles. Lee met Hehir through a mutual friend and shortly thereafter was introduced to Bowler, a Bronx native, while the two were working at restaurants a block away from one another in Manhattan. The three shared a mutual love for music and similar aesthetic sensibilities and banded together to form the core of MisterWives. When it came to time to round out the live band, Bowler brought old friends Jesse Blum and Marc Campbell on board. They played their first show together in February of 2013 and signed to Photo Finish/Republic shortly after. They released their debut EP “Reflections” this January and were featured as the first iTunes “Single of the Week” of 2014.
