One of Seattle’s most exciting heavy rock bands Monogamy Party have debuted the next track “Ordinary Things” from their upcoming full-length False Dancers (out September 17, 2013) at Exclaim! today. Click HERE to have your first taste of the white hot energy exuded by this quartet of musical misfits from the Emerald City.

False Dancers was recorded by the band and Austin Thomason (Jeremy Enigk, Pleasureboaters) in the meth capitol of Washington state, Granite Falls. The resulting work is a sweat-soaked, drug-fueled dance party marked by a wide range of influences: Sonic Youth, Black Eyes, Arab on Radar, and ’90s-era Amphetamine Reptile jams.

Monogamy Party is gearing up for tour dates this fall and are already warming up for their album release show on September 14th at Chop Suey, where they’ll be joined by fellow Good to Die band Gaytheist, as well as Haunted Horses and Prism Tats. More shows are sure to be announced throughout the rest of 2013 and into the new year. Don’t you worry, friends…you’ll get yours.

What people are saying about Monogamy Party:

“At this pace, “False Dancers” is shaping up to be a behemoth.” – Seattle Weekly

“Excellent in every way. It takes time. It takes patience. It takes desire. But enter the world of Monogamy Party” – Salad Days Magazine (Italy)

Maybe it’s a sign of the times with me, but for the love of all things good and heavy in this world I hate this CD with every fiber of my being! – Apoch’s Reviews

“These Seattle, Washington-based reprobates have unleashed one loud, noisy, ugly and bad attitude laden salvo. Sometimes it just feels right to turn up the volume and distortion, holler your head off, and hit the drums like they owe you some money. In the case of Monogamy Party, it works wonders and establishes them as new voice in the new noise rock movement that is currently taking place. This is one primal slab of sonic abuse.” – Verbicide Magazine

“At times is pure aural anarchy, But there’s enough cohesiveness and talent to keep you coming back.” – Decibel Magazine
