Monster Energy, Idol Roc Entertainment and Live Nation announce “The New Classic Tour” featuring female rap sensation, Iggy Azalea. The tour kicks off in Boston on April 23 at the House of Blues and closes out in Seattle on May 22 at The Neptune Theatre. The excursion also includes stops in Washington D.C., San Francisco, and Canada. A full tour itinerary is listed below.
After being named a “XXL Freshman” in 2012 and releasing two successful mixtapes with the help of rapper T.I. and producer/DJ Diplo, Iggy Azalea went on to open for Beyoncé on the Australian and Asian legs of her “Mrs. Carter Show World Tour.” Iggy is preparing her debut album, The New Classic, and recently released her single “Fancy” featuring Charli XCX. Fans attending the tour can expect the high-energy and an in-your-face live performance that the Aussie rap queen has become known for.
“I can’t wait to see my fans and perform the songs on my new album for the first time,” says Iggy. “I am so excited to work with the Monster Energy Outbreak Tour on my first headlining tour.”
After a successful 2013 Outbreak Tour featuring the XXL 2013 Freshman Class, Monster Energy and Idol Roc Entertainment team up once again, this time with Live Nation, to provide the stage for one of hip-hop’s emerging superstars. “We’re very excited and grateful for the chance to team up with Iggy Azalea on the ‘New Classic Tour’, shining the spotlight on an emerging talent as she preps her debut album release — which is the core of what the Outbreak Tour is all about. We’ve long admired Iggy and now it’s time for the whole world to see and hear what they’ve been missing out on” exclaimed tour producer, Steve Glazer (Idol Roc Entertainment).
