Juno Award-winning hard rockers MONSTER TRUCK have just announced that they will join legendary grunge band ALICE IN CHAINS for a slew of dates on their cross-Canada tour this summer. The band will be supporting ALICE IN CHAINS for six Canadian dates, including a special Canada Day performance at Fox Fest on July 1st in Vancouver, BC. Tickets for the recently added Regina and Winnipeg shows will go on sale this Friday May 3rd. Full tour details are below.

Monster Truck is about to release their highly anticipated debut full-length FURIOSITY on May 28 through Dine Alone Records. The album will include a bonus track “Win / Lose” on both the digital and vinyl versions. Furiosity will be available for pre-sale beginning April 30 here (digital) and at http://bit.ly/vGhU1A (physical). Each purchaser of the album will be instantly given the track “The Giant” and those purchasing copies of the CD and Vinyl through the band’s website, will have options to add other “extras”.

Monster Truck took home the award for ‘Breakthrough Group of the Year’ during the televised portion of the 2013 Juno Awards. The night before, Monster Truck gave a show-stopping performance of their crushing first single and #3 at Active Rock hit “Sweet Mountain River” at the Juno Gala Dinner.
Monster Truck was formed in 2009 by Jon Harvey (bass, lead vocals), Jeremy Widerman (guitar, vocals), Brandon Bliss (organ, vocals) and Steve Kiely (drums, vocals). True to their notorious maxim “Don’t F*ck With The Truck”, the band steamrolled across the country, becoming one of the biggest stories in Canadian rock this past year with two singles from The Brown EP (“Seven Seas Blues” and “Righteous Smoke”) reaching Top 10 on Canadian Rock radio, and a sweet EA NHL 2013 where “Seven Seas Blues” is featured on their online trailer advertising. The band won a 2013 CRMA (Canadian Radio Music Award) in Rock for “Seven Seas Blues“ and was also hand-picked to open for Slash on his 2012 North American tour, and opened sold-out dates for Deep Purple, Clutch, The Sheepdogs and most recently Billy Talent.
