Monster Truck will take over Hamilton with a vengeance with three back-to-back shows. Ardent fans may purchase a ‘3-pack’ for all three, hometown shows, which includes a ticket for each night, and a Limited Edition screen-printed poster commemorating the shows. Tickets for the Hamilton shows went on sale Wednesday, October 17 and are limited to 30 ‘3-packs’. They will only be available for sale on Monster Truck’s store. Tickets for the Ontario tour go on sale Friday, October 19 and will be available for purchase via traditional ticket outlets.
On November 13, Monster Truck will unleash the Don’t Fuck With The Truck Collection, a special 12” vinyl release, via Dine Alone Records. The Don’t Fuck With The Truck Collection is a combination of the band’s acclaimed EPs, The Brown EP (2012) and their self-titled debut release (2011). Pressed on black vinyl, the album includes two of the band’s Top 10 Rock radio hits “Seven Seas Blues” and “Righteous Smoke.” Fans can pre-order Don’t Fuck With The Truck Collection via Monster Truck’s websitebeginning October 22, as a stand alone item or as part of a bundle that includes a label exclusive t-shirt.
Monster Truck is one of the biggest groundswell stories in Canadian rock this year. Two singles reached Top 10 on Canadian Rock radio, the band took home the 2012 CASBY Award for “Best New Artist” and were nominated as “Best New Band” by Classic Rock Magazine. The band was hand-picked to open for Slash on his 2012 North American tour, and opened sold-out dates for Deep Purple, Clutch and The Sheepdogs.
