Chromeo
Electro-funk duo Chromeo formed in Montreal in the early 21st century, a project of former hip-hop producers Dave One and Pee Thug (news flash: not their given names). Dave handled guitars and vocals; Pee was the talkbox-wielding synth specialist.

From the beginning, Chromeo made it clear that the name of their well-dressed game would be artful detachment, earnest songwriting, retro breakdowns, and gleaming plastic beats-not serious intent or aggressive musical-regime change. The “Destination Overdrive” single appeared in late 2003, complete with the tingling B-side “Needy Girl” (a ringer for Yaz’s “Situation”) and a DFA remix; the She’s in Control LP dropped from Vice in early February 2004. Chromeo issued two mixes, 2005’s Un Joli Mix Pour Toi and 2006’s Ce Soir, On Danse, while gigging and working on their second album. Fancy Footwork arrived in summer 2007, boasting a slicker sound and poppier songwriting (courtesy of Cassius’ Philippe Zdar on mixing duties), plus an avalanche of remixes. As fans awaited another album, Chromeo released DJ-Kicks in 2009. They finally returned in August 2010 with Business Casual, released by Atlantic Records in the U.S. ~ Johnny Loftus, Rovi

DJ Z-Trip
Z-Trip is not just a DJ. He is more than a producer. He is a musical pioneer. And he sits at the helm of the highest echelon of DJ royalty. As a performer, Z-Trip is revered as one of the best live performance DJs in history, by both fans and peers. It’s no surprise fans voted him “America’s Best D” in 2009, beating out over 100 other DJ’s in DJ Times highly-acclaimed annual readers poll. His worldwide sold-out shows continue to set attendance records while drawing critical praise. “One of the great musical moments from Coachella (2002) was the frenzied set by turntable wizard Z-Trip. He had fans howling and bobbing, closing his set with a surprise appearance by Beck,” wrote the Los Angeles Times. It’s a fact that many call him the “godfather of mash-ups,” as he is one of the originators of the genre.
Switch (Dave Taylor formerly Major Lazer)
Switch is a UK-based DJ, songwriter, sound engineer and record producer. He is best known for his work with M.I.A . In the fidget house genre, Switch runs his own music label “Dubsided”, as well as the label Counterfeet, established in 2006 with fellow producer Sinden . He has released various singles under his own name, and is also well known for remixing and producing for many major artists.
He has also produced tracks for artists like Christina Aguilera, Santigold, Amanda Blank, Nicola Roberts and Beyonce.
In 2009 Switch collaborated with fellow producer Diplo (whom he met through artist M.I.A.) to create the album Guns Don’t Kill People…Lazers Do under the name Major Lazer.

DJ Jazzy Jeff
DJ “Jazzy Jeff” Townes was born in West Philadelphia and developed a love of music at an early age. Jeff was just 10-years-old when he started spinning records at parties, using his family’s basement as a training ground for his expert mixing. Since 1985, DJ Jazzy Jeff has wowed us with his flawless turntable skills, innovative production and musical versatility. From the success of “DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince” with partner Will Smith, to the critical acclaim of his production company “A Touch of Jazz,” Jeff proved time and time again that he would always be a force to be reckoned with. And he continues to represent with his solo projects, collaborations, mixtapes and live shows. His love of music shines through in everything he does. Over the course of his career, DJ Jazzy Jeff has achieved many accomplishments including a DMC Championship and multiple GRAMMY and American Music Awards and nominations. But he is a humble man who is still doing it as his 2002 hit said: “For Da Love of Da Game.”
