NACHTMYSTIUM premieres new track, “Borrowed Hope And Broken Dreams”, online

Over the past few years, the Chicago-based black metal outfit NACHTMYSTIUM has been widely heralded for their unique brand of psychedelic, Pink Floydian black metal. On July 30th in Europe and July 31st in North America, the band is set to release Silencing Machine, their 6th full length album and next celebrated chapter in NACHTMYSTIUM’s storied career. Recorded at Engine Studios with the band’s own synths/electronics specialist Sanford Parker (YOB, PELICAN) handling Producer duties, Silencing Machine is, as front-man/lead guitarist Blake Judd puts it, “A fuckin’ black metal record”.
The album’s second single, “Borrowed Hope And Broken Dreams”, can now be heard on the Visions Magazine website here:

As previously announced, Silencing Machine‘s title track and an exclusive interview with Judd can be viewed here on Pitchfork.com’s “Show No Mercy”. Judd also recently shared a mix-tape on Cvlt Nation.com, composed of some of his favorite, influential tracks that inspired the NACHTMYSTIUM catalog.
