“The next breakout band to capture the nation’s imagination…” All Music Guide Sugar & The Hi-Low’s are readying their second release, a holiday album titled Snow Angel available November 6th digitally and exclusively on tour in September/October with Ingrid Michaelson.
The duo infuses the holidays with their trademark “rockabilly ‘n’ retro soul revue” on 5 originals – “Shake That Gift,” “Home For The Holiday,” “Snow Angel,” “Sugar Cookie,” and “Naughty or Nice” – and the winter classic “Jingle Bells.”
Earlier this year, Sugar & The Hi-Lows debuted “…an infectious collection that highlights not only their songwriting chops but also their graceful harmonies… Stroup is the Tammi Terrell to Dabbs’ Marvin Gaye, the Carla Thomas to his Otis Redding” ( – Paste Magazine,Best of What’s Next ) on their self-titled full length.
    
The video for the single “See It For Yourself,” directed by Becky Fluke (The Civil Wars, The Pistol Annies), premiered on the Huffington Post. The song has been featured in USA Today’s “Playlist”,  Buzzbands LA’s free download of the day, download of the day on MP3.com and Marie Claire’s March 2012 “What To Download” playlist. It has also received airplay on Triple A and Americana stations such as KGSR-Austin, KRSH-Santa Rosa, WXPN-Philadelphia, WTTS-Indianapolis, and WQKL-Ann Arbor.
Sugar & The Hi-Lows embark on a three-week tour with Ingrid Michaelson beginning September 30 in Ann Arbor at the Power Center. Further dates are as follows:
