New England Metal and Hardcore Festival April 17th-19th in Worcester, Mass

By on March 24, 2015

Hey Hellhound Music readers, Lauren Adams here and you’re gonna want to listen up.

Happening April 17th – 19th at the Palladium in Worcester, Massachusetts this year marks the 17th Annual New England Metal and Hardcore Festival.  Founded by Scott Lee, a legend himself in the New England music scene this festival brings bands both well established and brand new to Worcester, Massachusetts every year.

2015 headliners include – Between The Buried And Me, Testament, Motionless In White, The Red Chord, and Exodus.   This year also features Nuclear Assault in their final New England appearance.

A few second stage can’t miss acts include; The Agonist – hailing from Montreal, Canada and now fronted by Vicky Psarakis. They’ve been touring in support of their new record “Eye Of Providence”.  Thy Will Be Done – With a highly anticipated new album due out this year, these guys are no strangers to the New England Metal and Hardcore Festival. They deliver one of the heaviest, face melting, can’t miss sets you’ll see all weekend. Other must see bands; The Plot In You, Gift Giver, I Declare War, Phinehas, and newcomers to the festival this year – OATH who have a self-titled EP set to release in April.

For me personally, this festival is the one I look forward to most each year and it’s the one I can’t miss. Growing up in the hub of New England Metal and Hardcore not only can I say how kickass this festival is, but it has come to mean so much more to me over the years.  It’s the one weekend out of the year I get to see a number of my favorite bands from all over the place across two stages.  It’s the one weekend where a lot of my favorite people are gathered all in one place for the same reason.  At the risk of sounding cheesy, it’s one giant Metal and Hardcore family reunion.  Worcester, MA and the Palladium feel like home for a weekend.  All of that started the very first time I attended this festival. If you’re a regular like myself, you’ll know exactly what I’m talking about. If not, come on out and find out for yourself.

You can purchase tickets for the whole weekend, or individual days. VIP options are available as well. Don’t procrastinate! Tickets have been known to sell out.

Tickets are also available at the Palladium Box Office, FYE stores, and at!
