Huntington Beach independent label No Sleep Records has announced today their first annual “Death To False Music Tour,” which will kick off in Dallas, TX on October 6th. As revealed by sponsor Absolutepunk.net, the tour will feature an assortment of bands from the label’s eclectic lineup, including The Felix Culpa, Rescuer, Aviator and Seasons Change. Tickets will go on sale Friday.
“Death To False Music” marks No Sleep’s first official tour. It’s also the label’s mission statement and commitment to featuring real bands that are creating real music and cutting through the false music that is oversaturating the music industry today.
“Doing a No Sleep tour has always been something we’ve wanted to do, and could not be more pleased with the first of hopefully many to come,” says No Sleep president Chris Hansen. “Much love for all the bands doing the tour, and we hope you enjoy it.”
The upcoming tour will feature some of No Sleep’s most exciting new signings and emerging bands. The first leg of the run will be headlined by Tampa rock band Rescuer, who are touring behind their latest album Anxiety Answering, with Boston rock act Aviator, who are releasing their new album Head In The Clouds, Hands In the Dirt on August 19th, and newly signed SoCal pop-punk band Seasons Change in support. The second leg of the tour will feature the recently reunited headliners The Felix Culpa, who are releasing a new split with labelmates Foreign Tongues on August 12th, with Rescuer and Aviator supporting. Dates are listed below.
Fans are invited to purchase tickets on Friday and follow No Sleep Records at https://www.facebook.com/nosleeprecords for additional news and updates.
