Oakland-based indie/folk quartet GHOST TOWN JENNY have premiered a new music video for “Lights”, which comes from their debut EP, Golden Hour, released earlier this year. AllMusic.com writes, “The slow motion video, mostly set in nature, helps further evoke the song’s cinematic tone, buoyed by strings, piano, and especially [lead singer] Kylland’s voice.”

The video was directed by Samantha Shay, who the band met while in Iceland in 2011.

Purevolume.com, who first championed the song back in January, referred to Ghost Town Jenny as “cinematic soul,” and compared them to the likes of Florence & the Machine and Bjork.

Moving into 2015, Ghost Town Jenny will continue to support their Golden Hour EP with various live performances, whilst writing and recording their first full length effort.
