Original Score To The Gaslight Anthem’s Short Film, “Every Word Handwritten,”

By on April 18, 2013

Following The Gaslight Anthem’s massively successful release of the full length, Handwritten, on Mercury Records, drummer Benny Horowitz teamed up with film director Kevin Slack to create a short film inspired by the record.

Every Word Handwritten follows the lifespan of one vinyl record, highlighting it as the thread through many people’s lives through decades to come. To encompass the full understanding of the film, Horowitz and Slack employed the help of Gaslight guitarist Alex Rosamilia and friend Wes Kleinknecht to compose the score for Every Word Handwritten.

After a sold-out private screening for Gaslight fans at the Anthology Film Archives in New York on February 18, the team is proud to officially release the Rosamilia and Kleinknecht score to Every Word Handwritten today, Tuesday, April 16 via digital distributors worldwide.
