Melodic hardcore outfit Our Last Night tackle the age old question of who—or what?—controls our destiny in their new video for “Fate.”

Directed by DJ Brawner with Anthem Films, the video crafts multiple narratives of individuals all struggling with momentous obstacles they must find the strength to forge past. While each character has their own demons to destroy, their stories all prove we hold ultimate control over our lives . . . and often, music can be the guiding force towards discovering that.

“It was an eye opening experience for us all to see another’s perspective of FATE and how it could be applied to our personal lives . . . bringing us together through music,” the band explains. “Music is most needed in times of desperation and loss when there feels as if there is no way out, DJ had an extremely positive portrayal of FATE and the concept that everyone may have the opportunity to script their own lives, and final destinations.”

“Fate” comes off the band’s new album, Age of Ignorance, out now via Epitaph Records. Check out the video’s exclusive premiere right here, and for your chance to catch these guys live, peep their tour dates with the Color Morale below.
