The videography, a screenshot of which can be seen above, utilizes a brand-new layout that widely contrasts the label’s current website. The new layout will spread to the rest of the site by summer 2012. Paper + Plastick owner Vinnie Fiorello describes the layout as cleaner and more efficient, paralleling the way the label is running its business in the new year.
To describe it simply, the videography has every music video, acoustic session or “bathroom tape” released by an artist on Paper + Plastick. Fans of the label can go to one central location to see music videos from as far back as 2009 and can filter the videos if looking for a specific band.
The innovative design of the videography, designed by Jason Koi, mirrors the layout of Paper + Plastick’s revolutionary Vinylography – a page where each variant of vinyl the label has released can be viewed with details. A screenshot of the Vinylography, also designed by Koi, can be seen below. The page was critically lauded by multiple modern design blogs for its neat layout.
