The dynamic duo are also preparing to gear up for their third official US tour beginning late March, 2014, in Miami, FL.
Pelussje, a.k.a. James Nayler & Chiara Benelli are a couple of italian electro producers and DJs born in 2004 through flaming walls of sound, burning screams and fiery stage divings.
After a period of circuit bending, noise and underground live based shows, they decided to bring back on the ring their deep love for mixer and turntables.
In 2008 their productions turned to a stronger, more complex and club-oriented sound, colored by massive basslines and the full flavor of their musical roots. Their love for Mexican Lucha Libre, it’s theatrical violence and the acted madness broke trough, and masks became a fundamental symbol of their live shows.
During the last 5 years Pelussje acquired a significant reputation worldwide, bringing their show in Europe, USA, South Africa, Mexico, Taiwan, South Korea and Brazil, sharing the stage with Skrillex, Crookers, Deadmau5, Steve Aoki, Cyberpunkers, Congorock, Boys Noize, SebastiAn, Lektroluv, The Subs, Bare Noize, Bart B More, Toxic Avenger, Shinichi Osawa, Vicarious Bliss, Cold Blank, Peaches, Dope D.O.D., Zomboy, & more.
Their eclectic music has been release on important labels such as Universal, EMI Music, Freakz Me Out, OMGITM, Boxon Records, Off Limits, receiving great feedbacks from
Skrillex, Bloody Beetroots, Steve Aoki, Benny Benassi, Congorock and Joachim Garraud.
Pelussje have always been also active remixers, indeed they gained international reputation thanks to a great number of bootlegs of songs from their musical roots, such as “Take on Me” by A-HA, “Call Me” by Blondie, “Smack My Bitch Up” by Prodigy, “Wild Boys” by Duran Duran, “Get Lucky” by Daft Punk and recently “I Was Made For Loving You” By Kiss.
