It has also embraced actors and comedians such as Kristen Wiig, Will Forte, Jason Sudeikis, Michael Cera and Alia Shawkat.
“The Fests are the perfect embodiment of everything a Jameson night should be – great friends coming together to celebrate and raise a glass to our musical heroes.  With Jameson already a huge part of the rehearsals and performances, we are truly excited to have their support to grow the Fests nationwide,” said Alex Levy, Fest founder.  “And for the first time, 100 percent of the ticket proceeds will go to Sweet Relief Musicians Fund to help struggling musicians.”
“The FESTS started in the same close-knit NYC East Village and Lower East Side bartender/musician community that adopted Jameson as their drink of choice back in the early 90s,” said Jeffrey Moran, Vice President, Public Relations, Events and Lifestyle Marketing.  “Jameson is looking forward to supporting and preserving this event and ensuring it is taken to more cities, musicians and Jameson fans.”

 About The Best Fest:
Ten years after celebrating Bob Dylan’s 60th birthday, The Fest — Dylan Fest, Petty Fest and Stones Fest — has become a New York tradition, with sold-out celebrations at Bowery Ballroom, Music Hall of Williamsburg, Webster Hall and Irving Plaza. The New York Times described The Fest as “one the most jubilant events of the year,” and Rolling Stone touted it as “an experience that is equal parts concert and celebration.”
About Jameson Irish Whiskey:
Jameson Irish Whiskey is the world’s No 1 selling Irish whiskey and is amongst the elite of the fastest growing international spirit brands in the world. The success of the Irish brand is down to its great quality and smooth taste, coupled with a fantastic heritage, established in 1780 by the legendary John Jameson. It has all the quality credentials to allow it be consumed straight, but is versatile and is equally great when mixed.
About Sweet Relief Musicians Fund:
Since 1994 Sweet Relief has been offering vital assistance to professional musical artists in need. Many prominent musicians, professionals and music fans have contributed enthusiastically to Sweet Relief Musicians Fund.
