About Mason:

Mason is that ace in the hole, jack of all trades, king of lyricism, drama queen that the world has always loved and has been waiting for the reemergence of. Listen to any of his songs and you’ll see where the perfect 10 comes in, to make him the industry’s next royal flush. This kid is oozing with tunes in every genre from his forte of hip hop, to the distant blue grass and he loves it all. He is passionate about music, passionate about life and annoyingly enthusiastic about being a legend. When asked why he chose such a difficult career to break into he said: “For some peculiar reason I have an unquenchable urge to want to be remembered. I need to share my talents and my life with as many people as I can. It’s a dire need, but don’t worry I’ll work for it.”

Mason was a freestyle rapper since high school but made the serious leap into the music scene during his first year of college. Studying as a psychology major in the suburbs outside of Philadelphia, he started writing rock songs in his dormitory while keeping an eye on his laundry. After years of fighting a persistent feeling to “be more;” an inkling that he may have found his niche was all he needed to pursue a career in music full on. Mason is an incredible writer, but behind the scenes is no place for a star who desperately needs to shine. He decided to polish his old rap skills and graduate from writer to artist. From that moment on he says he never had a doubt whether or not he would succeed. After 4 mix tapes, countless shows with artists such as Lupe Fiasco, Cypress Hill, and Snoop Lion (Snoop Dogg), festivals including SXSW 2012, a contract with Doghouse Records becoming their first hip hop artist ever and a collection of hundreds of songs in various genres Mason is well on his way and not slowing down any time soon. He is expecting to release a minimum of 2 more mix tapes this year and is creating a huge buzz around his label submitted album entitled Different Kinda Cool. On stage you will see pure animalistic power and clout. In his music you will hear emotion and intensity to a bottomless depth. In person you’ll feel the same thing resonating from his pores. Mason is a born star and unless he goes supernova prepare to see him as a guiding light in the music industry for decades to come.
