Halestorm Tour live at The NorVa, Norfolk, VA April 25th 2016 with guests Lita Ford and Dorothy

The NorVa was in for a treat with three killer bands all fronted by woman of rock. Opening up band Dorothy a band found in LA back in 2013. Singer Dorothy Martin vocal’s remind me of old school metal rock. High energy and rocking riffs made the crowds perk up and heads nodding. They actually made it to the #14 spot of the best new artist band in 2014. This is a band to keep an eye out for. Next up is a rock queen know by many young and old. Lita Ford, do I need to say anything more? This talented singer started way back in 1075 with the band called the Runaways. She launched her solo career in 1983. With 8 albums that spread the decade she has always stayed true to her fans. You can definitely tell by the loud cheers from the fans. Playing her favorite hits lie “The bitch is back”, “Kiss me deadly” and “Close my eyes forever”. As she exits the stage we can still feel the energy from her performance. Now for the main event of the night Halestorm enters onto the stage and take position. Opening up with “god bless the beast” melodic tune calming but interesting lyric. As the lights fade and shift over to “Mz Hyde” hard hitting get your butt up full of energy riffs. With crisp tones and clear vocals her music is top notch. Ending the night with “I miss the misery”. You can tell the band was pleased by the reaction of fans. Playing 18 songs of shear bliss the fans are truly satisfied with this entire night. Mark your calendar if you’re one of the stops on this tour.
