Seattle’s Pickwick have just released a gorgeous video for “Lady Luck”, the first track off of their debut album Can’t Talk Medicine. The video is directed by Tyler Kalberg, edited by Pickwick’s own Garrett Parker and stars fellow band mate (and Grammy Award winning engineer) Kory Kruckenberg, as the focal piece of the edgy, genre-bending video. The video is currently premiering in Canada on Exclaim! To check it out, visit: http://bit.ly/10GsS0f

Following a run of successful US tour dates and a special SXSW show with Vampire Weekend, Pickwick will go out on the road again in support of Can’t Talk Medicine, which is now available through Dine Alone Records in Canada. The second leg of the tour takes the band east for first time appearances in Chicago (sold out!), New York (sold out!), Philadelphia (sold out!), DC, Atlanta and more. The Canadian portion of the tour kicks off April 11th and includes stops in eight Canadian cities. Full tour details are below.

What People Are Saying About Pickwick

“Pickwick’s sound centers around Galen Disston’s dynamite vocals. Simply put, he’s the best singer in the Seattle music scene. His voice soars octaves, from a rich low register to falsetto coos and the occasional energetic guttural wail.” – Seattle Metropolitan Magazine

“Pickwick, whose exuberant debut, the just-out “Can’t Talk Medicine,” harkens back to its ’60s influences with nary a wink, and their buzz is all the louder for it.” MSN Music “Spring Music Guide”

“Can’t Talk Medicine…is more representative of what the band is right now — a six-piece that’s a rising star in Seattle’s indie music scene and ready to break through nationally.” – NPR’s World Cafe
