“I see what you’ve done here, Diamond Rugs. You made the soundtrack to Beer. Nice job. I can’t wait for the sequel, This is How to Not be a Boring Pussy” -VICE

“The most hootenanny-having, hooch-swilling, ham-slapping saloon band that ever existed.” -SPIN

“Sweaty and unpolished with just the right amount of self-awareness–everything a great rock record should be.” -Paste Magazine

SPIN has premiered the new music video for Diamond Rugs single “Blue Mountains,” which is off their self-titled debut that came out in April on Partisan Records. The video, directed by Colin Devin Moore, takes the group (featuring John McCauley & Robbie Crowell from Deer Tick, Ian St. Pé from The Black Lips, Steve Berlin from Los Lobos, Hardy Morris from Dead Confederate, and Bryan Dufresne from Six Finger Satellite) on a psychedelic romp through down ‘n dirty Athens, GA.  The boys rock out at a show, hang with strippers, raid a beer truck, and more!  “This video is 110% unadulterated good times,” says St. Pé.
