Deco Auto

Deco Auto, coined as a power-punk fist punch trio, are slated to release their debut full-length album, The Curse of Deco Auto, on February 14th, 2015 via $tudent Loan Records. Self-produced by Steven Garcia and Pat Tomek at Largely Studios in Kansas City, Deco Auto are flirting with a matured 1990s emo aesthetic while maintaining a genuine and wholesome Midwestern dynamic. The album includes nine tracks with raw quality-of-life guts that compare to a slightly melted freeze pop on a sunny day’s curb. Nominated for Best Emerging Act of 2012 in Kansas City’s The Pitch, Deco Auto are leaving their brand in back alleys throughout the plain states and working their way into festivals to the likes of Midcoast Takeover (via SXSW), Middle of the Map Fest, Center of the City Fest, and more. Physical copies of the album will be available for $5, however the digital version will be offered on Bandcamp come February 13th with a “name your price” option.

The album features the following tracks:

The Curse of Deco Auto

  1. One of a Million
  2. Frozen Tears
  3. The Introduction
  4. Such a Bother
  5. The Silent Ones
  6. Deco Stomp
  7. Play Along
  8. Empty Gestures
  9. Turning Down
