In support of his full-length debut album Chaos And The Calm [Republic Records] out March 24 (pre-order here), JAMES BAY will embark on a North American headline tour this spring. The tour starts April 27 at Mod Club in Toronto, ON Canada, plays major markets across the country, and concludes May 14 at The Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles, CA.

Fans who pre-order Chaos And The Calm on JAMES BAY‘s official web store gain access to a special ticket pre-sale beginning February 5. Meanwhile, the general ticket sale begins February 6 at 10am local time. U.S. fans are already anticipating his return as his New York, Bowery Ballroom show sold out in less than one minute and overseas his headlining tour has been sold out for months in advance.

As of today, the digital pre-order now unlocks an instant grat download of “Move Together.Other immediate downloads include “Scars, “Let It Go, “If You Ever Want To Be In Love, and the current single “Hold Back The River.” In addition to the instant grat BAY recently released an acoustic video performance of “Move Together” which premiered on Entertainment Weekly yesterday. You can view it here!

2015 is already shaping up to be a breakout year for the internationally acclaimed UK singer and songwriter. At the end of December, he hit the stage at Late Night with Seth Meyers for his first-ever stateside television performance, and has been profiled by tastemakers such as Spotify, Buzzfeed, Entertainment Weekly, BlackBook, Mashable, The Guardian and Q Magazines as an “Artist to Watch.” JAMES BAY recently received the high honor of the BRIT Critics Choice Award, joining the ranks of past winners Sam Smith, Adele, Florence + the Machine, Jessie J, and more, and has also come in at #2 on BBC Sound of 2015.

BAY hails from the tiny town of Hitchin, but he cut his teeth performing at London’s iconic venues including opening for The Rolling Stones at Hyde Park, opening for two sold out tours with Kodaline, John Newman and Tom Odell. It was at one of these very performances that a fan filmed his set and shared the video on YouTube. The video quickly caught the attention of Republic Records who ended up flying BAY to New York and signing him on the spot. Last fall, he was selected to perform at the Burberry’s Prosum Spring/Summer Fashion Show and the iTunes Music Festival. BAY will soon be embarking on 3 sold out UK tours including 2 nights at London’s famous Shepherd’s Bush Empire.

Look out for more news on JAMES BAY coming soon in anticipation for Chaos And The Calm this spring.
