Praise for the Riverboat Gamblers:
“ATX punx finally grow up, flex polished muscles, moody might via hard chugging (and flange).” –

“Look, I’m neither a writer for Rolling Stone, nor an intern at Crypt Records; accordingly, when I hear the term “real rock and roll,” I go to the other side of the bar. But sometimes, even the most overused terminology applies. The new Riverboat Gamblers album, The Wolf You Feed, is-ahem-that.” – Noisey

“Riverboat Gamblers have been one of the most consistent (and consistently underappreciated) punk bands in the scene for more than a decade, expertly balancing force and swagger on their fifth album, The Wolf You Feed.” – Alternative Press

“On The Wolf You Feed, Riverboat Gamblers have given up the explicit anarchy of their earlier songs and replaced it with a dread and a menace that keeps their eminently hummable melodies grounded in approachable human frailty. “Comedians” is an excellent example of the band’s relatively newfound restraint tempered with a glint of the abandon that coursed through their earlier catalog.” – Chicagoist
