British sensations Rixton will release their eagerly awaited full-length debut album Let The Road on January 6th on School Boy/Giant Little Man/Mad Love/Interscope Records. The album features songs co-written by the band and their producer Benny Blanco (Katy Perry, Maroon 5), as well as one song written by Ed Sheeran.

Let The Roadd will be available for D2C pre-order at RixtonBand.com beginning September 30th and at all digital partners on October 7th. The album’s lead-off single, “Wait On Me,” is currently available and is the No. 5 most added track at Pop radio. In addition, the song is featured in AT&T’s “It Can Wait” campaign against texting and driving during September and October. The lyric video for “Wait On Me” premieres today on VEVO.  Watch a live clip of the band performing the song at the El Rey Theater HERE.  Don’t miss Rixton perform “Wait On Me” on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Monday, October 6th at 11:35pm/10:35pm CT on ABC.

“Let The Road is something we’re incredibly proud of,” says Rixton’s Jake Roche.  Songs have survived 6 years to make it on this album, back when me and Danny were writing in the caravan having no idea where they would end up.  We feel incredibly humbled to be able to share this with our fans, and we hope you enjoy listening to it, just as much as we enjoyed making it.”

Rixton will hit the road with Ariana Grande for her upcoming North American tour, which kicks off February 25th in Independence, MO, and continues through mid-April. Please see below for all tour dates. The band recently wrapped up its summer headlining Broken Heart Tour, playing sold-out shows to fans in major cities across the U.S.

“Being asked to be Ariana’s special guest is a huge honour. We’re massive fans of her and her incredible talent and we’re so excited to play these prestigious venues all over America. We’re also very excited to play some new songs that fans haven’t had the chance to hear live yet,” says Rixton.

In March, Rixton released their Me And My Broken Heart EP featuring their buzzworthy hit single of the same title, which climbed to No. 1 on the U.K. Singles Chart. It has sold more than one million downloads and has been certified Platinum. In July, “Me And My Broken Heart” ranked as one of the most Shazam-ed new tracks in the U.S., while the official video, directed by Cameron Duddy, has racked up over 24 million views on YouTube/VEVO. Rixton have delivered killer performances on Late Night With Seth Meyers, The Voice, Ellen, So You Think You Can Dance, and The TODAY Show, plus a medley of “Wait On Me” and “Me And My Broken Heart” on The Teen Choice Awards. (They were nominated for “Choice Music Group.”) The band has been featured as an MTV 2014 “Artist To Watch” and a VEVO LIFT artist, and “Me And My Broken Heart” was chosen as an iTunes Single of the Week. Rixton have also been confirmed as an “Emerging Artist” by American Express, which will live-stream their show at Brooklyn’s Music Hall of Williamsburg on October 20th.

Hailing from Manchester, Rixton are Jake Roche, (vocals/rhythm guitar), Danny Wilkin (bass/keys), Charley Bagnall (lead guitar), and Lewi Morgan (drums). Jake and Danny began writing together four years ago in Danny’s parents’ caravan. Three years later they were introduced to Charley through mutual friends and a year later stumbled upon Lewi in a back alley of a Manchester pub (playing pots and pans) and asked him to join the band. Inspired by the soulful pop sounds of Maroon 5 and Bruno Mars, Rixton offer up a wealth of addictive pop/rock/R&B built on their own brand of songwriting, instrumentation, and vocal harmonies. The band steadily gained a large YouTube following from their reimagined covers of tracks including Taylor Swift’s “Trouble,”Rita Ora’s “How We Do (Party),” Chris Brown’s “Don’t Wake Me Up,” and R. Kelly’s “Ignition,” eventually catching the ear of talent manager Scooter Braun.
