RODRIGO Y GABRIELA RELEASE NEW LIVE ALBUM

Live In France to be released July 19
Ahead of UK & North American dates

ATO Records is excited to announce the release of Rodrigo y Gabriela’s new live record, Live in France. The record will be released on July 19, and was recorded at various venues around the Fifth Republic on the 11:11 world tour. It is the band’s second live album, following 2008’s Live in Japan.  Rodrigo y Gabriela are riding high on the global success of their Hans Zimmer collaboration on Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides; which has recently just enjoyed the biggest global opening weekend in the history of the movies. Live in France will be released to coincide with newly announced North American and European tour dates.
Live in France is a very different live document to Live In Japan, which marked the end of their seated performances. Their live shows are constantly evolving and the 11:11 tour mixed deft acoustic dexterity with an electrifying shred-fest of white hot duelling guitars. No chairs then, but plenty of FX pedal hopping and feet on the monitors rocking. The album captures this fusion framed by rapturous receptions from their fanatical legion of French followers.
