SEP 08 – Set It Off is now premiering the lead single – “Why Worry” – from their forthcoming full-length, Duality. The new album will be out October 14 on Equal Vision Records. The bold pop track aired Sunday on BBC Radio 1 in a worldwide exclusive premiere and is now available streaming on

Duality album preorders will launch on September 9 through and  digital retailers – and will include “Why Worry” as an instant grat track.

“This was the first song we ever wrote with [producer] Brandon Paddock. The chemistry in that room was absolutely incredible and we just had the time of our lives making this song,” shares vocalist Cody Carson. “Influences and the vibe for the song derived from Michael Jackson, all the way to Phantom of The Opera. The instruments in the verses, you’ll notice, are eerie and minor, drawing you in and making your heart beat. My intention with the lyrics is to translate that yes, you worry, I worry, we all do…but come with me and I’ll show you the light. It’s funny though, this song really showed me that sometimes, in songs, I’m actually giving MYSELF advice!”

This past week, Set It Off also debuted a five episode video series of sound bites introducing the album and giving fans insight into the writing and recording process for Duality. The series  can now be seen in its entirety at

Duality will also be released in partnership with Rude Records in the UK (October 13), Europe (October 14) and Germany, Austria and Switzerland (October 17), and with UNFD in Australia/New Zealand.

Set It Off is comprised of Cody Carson (vocals), Dan Clermont (guitar), Zach DeWall (guitar), Maxx Danziger (drums), and Austin Kerr (bass).

This Fall, Set It Off will share the stage with Black Veil Brides and Falling In Reverse on a massive US tour, which will kick off on October 21 in Niagara Falls. All upcoming tour dates can be found below.
