Alternative rock musician and occasional Nickelback brasher (we can all appreciate that) Rob Decoup’s single “Burn Me To The Ground” has been grabbing some notable attention as of late and snagging some pretty good reviews on iTunes. A percussion driven acoustic composition opens the track before some raunchy distortion kicks in via a grooving riff. The song has a very rhythmic chorus—one of its stronger points, but some killer leads take the reigns and steel the show: shredding with a nice, down & dirty feel to it; this contrasts quite well with Decoup’s smooth, post-grunge vocal delivery. Solid track—you can grab your copy on iTunes today.
