Anticipation’s booming for the return of popular pre-summer festival SKATE AND SURF FESTIVAL, which will make its triumphant comeback May 18th and 19th at The Plaza Green at iPlay America in Freehold, NJ. After an eight year hiatus, they’re back with a killer lineup including Fall Out Boy, Glassjaw, A Day to Remember, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Saves The Day, Bayside, Andrew W.K., Into It. Over It., Transit and many more. Joining the festival to document its epic return with live and behind the scenes shots are official photographers, Chicago-based Ashley Osborn and local New Jerseyan photog, Keeyahtay Lewis.
To say that Ashley’s excited about photographing something as legendary as SKATE AND SURF FESTIVAL is an understatement: “It’s truly an honor to be a part of, let alone photographing, something as iconic as SKATE AND SURF FESTIVAL. Especially this year with it’s return! Fall Out Boy was the first band I ever wanted to photograph – they are the reason I picked up a camera years ago and this will be my first time photographing them. It’s going to be pretty insane for me to cross that off of my list.”
