Slaves debut new song ‘The Upgrade Pt. II’

By on May 13, 2014

Slaves, the new project of Jonny Craig (Dance Gavin Dance, Emarosa), have premiered another brand new song from their much-anticipated debut Through Art We Are All Equals, out June 24 via Artery Recordings.

The band has debuted “The Upgrade PT II” via ARTISTdirect. Check out the song and its accompanying lyric video here.

Listeners will find the track to be haunting, kicking off with a metallic crunch before spiraling into a swirl of lush instrumentation topped by Craig’s inimitable vocals.

As ARTISTdirect said, “Slaves turn dreamscapes into heavy alternative bliss unlike anything else out there. Welcome to one of the year’s best pieces of Art.

Fans can grab the song here. Pre-order merch bundles are here, as well.

Slaves are also about to embark on their first-ever tour this month alongside Hands Like Houses, Miss Fortune and Alive Like Me.
