Smoke Music – founded by music/publishing veterans Bob Moses and Matt Hendrickson – is proud to release “The Road,” a single-theme music magazine for tablet. Smoke Music presents occasional writing, a forum for friends and colleagues, and results from experiments in multi-media storytelling, using the Creatavist app (download for free here.)

In this issue, we write from the rock ‘n’ roll road, pausing for political upheaval (the fall of the Berlin Wall), cross-country crate diving, dashed dreams (a near-miss on becoming a member of Wilco’s crew) and mind-blowing inaugural experiences (seeing Phish for the first time). Hendrickson and Moses are joined by Tompkins Square Records’ Josh Rosenthal and writer and attorney Jeff Leven – and the most famous roadies in rock history.

Now, get in the van.
